Jambalaya

"This jambalaya recipe starts with the holy trinity of onion, bell pepper, and celery that's combined with okra, shrimp, smoked sausage, and white rice for a hearty one-pot dish jam-packed with flavor...."

INGREDIENTS
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 cup diced onion (about 1 medium onion)
1 cup diced green bell pepper (1 large green bell pepper)
1 cup diced red bell pepper (1 large red bell pepper)
1 cup diced celery (about 2 ribs of celery)
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning (we used the white pepper blend)
4 bay leaves
1 pound smoked sausage (sliced)
12 ounces frozen okra (thawed)
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 1/2 pounds grilling shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1/4 cup chicken broth
8 ounces tomato sauce
2 cups cooked white rice (1 cup dry white rice)
