Italian Style Eggplant Tomato Pasta

INGREDIENTS
3 baby aubergines or 1 big aubergine
1 glove of garlic
basil or parsley leaves
2 teaspoons capers
2 spoons olives (optional)
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1 chopped tomatoes or passata
1/2 teaspoon pink Hymalayan salt
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Parmesan cheese (optional)
500gr pasta like gemelli, fusilli, rigatoni or penne
