This is a beautiful soft, gently seasoned Italian viniagrette. Don’t expect that in-you-face bottled Italian taste. This dressing will caresses your salad… not stomps on it!

2 garlic cloves, pressed

2 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 cup good red wine vinegar
•
2 TBS fresh squeezed lemon juice
•
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
•
1/2 cup canola oil
•
1/3 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
•
2 TBS fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped
•
1 tsp fresh oregano, finely chopped
•
1/4 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped

salt and pepper
