INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tbsp chopped fresh marjoram
2 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
1 tbsp fresh chopped thyme leaves
⅛ cup fresh chopped parsley
2 bay leaves
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Italian sausage
1 carrot, shredded
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
2 (28 oz) cans whole peeled plum tomatoes
1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 cup white wine (I use Chablis)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
