INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 cups of flour

1 cup of butter
•
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
•
1 egg yolk
•
1 cup of chopped pecans, pistachio's, macadamia, walnuts, or hazelnuts (if you have nuts allergies substitute with roasted pumpkin seeds crushed or sunflower seeds unsalted)
•
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
•
1 1/2 tablespoons of Amaretto
•
1/2 teaspoon of almond extract Note: you can also substitute almond and Amaretto for 2 teaspoons of lemon, orange, maple, vanilla, even peppermint or another flavored extract and make any flavors you prefer.
