INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 to 4 pounds bone-in pork shoulder blade steak (or about 3 pounds of cubed meat plus bones)
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt (divided)
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper (divided)
3 tablespoons canola oil
3 medium yellow onions (chopped (about 5 cups))
1/2 pound brown mushrooms (quartered)
1 tablespoon McCormick caraway seeds
1 1/2 cups Irish Stout
1 1/2 cups water
2 McCormick bay leaves
4 carrots (peeled and sliced about 1/4" thick)
1/2 pound baby Yukon Gold or small red potatoes (quartered)
1/4 cup chopped Italian flat leaf parsley
