Ingredients

3 lbs. fresh peas in the pod, shelled
I to 3 sprigs mint
I tsp. sugar
Boiling salted water
I Tbs. butter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Cook peas, mint, and sugar in water until peas are tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain; stir in butter, salt and pepper.
