Hungarian Goulash

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons butter
2 lbs beef chuck or 2 lbs beef round steak, cut into 1 inch cubes,
2 large potatoes cut into cubes - do not add until final 1/2 hour of cooking
2 carrots sliced - do not add until final 1/2 hour of cooking
1 cup sliced onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup catsup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons hungarian paprika
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 dash red cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup water
3 cups hot cooked buttered noodles
