1 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 cup flour of choice, for dusting
2 (9-inch) rounds pie dough of choice
1 egg whisked with a few teaspoons water
1 tablespoon raw sugar, to garnish
fresh whipped cream, to serve (optional)
