1/2 cup (1 stick, 4 ounces) cold unsalted butter*

3 tablespoons (2 1/4 ounces) honey
•
1 large egg
•
3/4 cup (6 ounces) buttermilk
•
Glaze (optional)

1/4 cup (1 3/4 ounces) sugar
•
1/4 teaspoon Fiori di Sicilia (optional)
•
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
•
2 teaspoons water
•
*Reduce salt to 1/2 teaspoon if you use salted butter.
