Ingredients: 2 tablespoons butter; 3 tablespoons flour; 2 tablespoons chili powder; 1 teaspoon cumin; 1 teaspoon garlic powder; 1/2 teaspoon black pepper; 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or less for less spicy); kosher salt as needed; pinch of cinnamon (optional, but totally recommended); 2 cups cold chicken broth (stock works fine too)
