INGREDIENTS

Pancake ingredients:

1 T. ginger
•
1 T. cinnamon
•
1 c. buttermilk
•
1/2 c. molasses
•
1 1/2 c. water
•
4 c. buttermilk pancake mix
•
-Mix together and cook on medium heat
•
Applesauce topping:
•
3 c. unsweetened applesauce
•
1-2 peeled apples, cut into 1/2" chunks
•
1/4 c. red hots candies
•
1/4 c. water
•
-Mix and cook in saucepan on med-low heat until apples are soft: approx 20 min.
•
(Can be done ahead of time and reheated)
•
Maple Cream topping ingredients:
•
2 c. heavy cream
•
1/4 c. maple syrup
•
Mix in mixer until stiff.
•
Top pancakes with applesauce topping and then whipped cream. Serve warm.
