HELL'S KITCHEN MAHNOMIN PORRIDGE

"This outrageously delicious porridge is served at Sen. Al Franken's "Breakfast with Al" in DC. 8:30-9:30am eastern in the Hart Senate Office Building, Room 309. Of course it takes more than ten minutes to make this dish! The wild rice takes anywhere from 30-45 min. to cook. Then 5-6 min to roast the hazelnuts; both can be done the day before. And a few minutes to whip the cream..."

INGREDIENTS
4 cups cooked wild rice
1/2 cup roasted, cracked hazelnuts
1/2 cup dried blueberries
1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup heavy whipping cream
