BEEF AND BARLEY BISCUITs
Mmm!

Ingredients. . .
2 C Barley Flour
1 C Rye Flour
1/2 C low-sodium beef bouillon powder
1/2 C crumbled or shredded cooked beef (such as hamburger)
1/2 C unsweetened applesauce
1 C warm water
Directions. . .
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients and mix well to make sure all the dry ingredients are moist and the meat is coated with the flour mixture. If the mixture is too dry add a little more warm water - a little at a time. The dough should be a
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets
Bake for 10-15 mins until bottoms are golden brown
Remove from oven, let cool thoroughly and store in airtight container in 'fridge.
FOR CRUNCHIER TREATS (We like 'em crunchier for Rose & Gracie b/c they last longer). When all the biscuits have been baked, remove from the oven and let them sit a bit (5 mins is enough).
Turn off the oven and put them all back on a cookie sheet & return to oven. Let them sit in the cooling oven for several hours or over- night to harden. VOY-OLA!!! Fabulous wheat-free doggie treats.

32 oz low-fat yogurt
2 bananas, mashed
1/2 C natural peanut butter
2 Tablesp Honey
