½ avocado
½ cup torn kale (from about 1 large leaf)
juice and zest of one lemon
1 small clove of garlic
1 teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon capers (plus 1 tablespoon of the juice)
2 tablespoons chopped chives
½ cup soft-leaf herbs (basil, mint, dill, cilantro, parsley, tarragon, etc.)
