Healthy Cleansing Soup

INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon apple cider or red wine vinegar
1 onion, coarsely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 bunch carrots, diced
1 small head broccoli, cut into small florets
1 jar (16 ounces) crushed heirloom tomatoes
1 knob (about 1 tablespoon) ginger, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon ground turmeric (optional)
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
4 cups vegetable broth
1 bunch (2 cups) lacinato kale, destemmed, and coarsely chopped
1 cabbage (about 2 ½ cups) cabbage, coarsley chopped
1 lemon, zested and juiced
