There are so many different variations but this is our favorite.; Steak Ingredients:; 1 pound ground beef; 1 egg; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 1/4 teaspoon black pepper; 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder; 1teaspoon minced onion; 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats; 1/4 cup flour; 2 tablespoons oil; Gravy Ingredients:; 1 package onion soup mix; 1 small onion, peeled and chopped; 3 1/2 cups water; 4 ounce can mushroom pieces, drained; Flour leftover from dredging steaks.
