2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon zest (from about 1 large lemon)
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Juice of 1/2 lemon
