1 teaspoon of either maple extract or rum extract
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon each of ground cinnamon and ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 cup molasses (honey, or maple syrup (choose one))
2 cups sweetened dried cranberries
2 cups raisins
2 cups mixed candied fruit
½ cup finely chopped nuts
