Golden Butter Cupcakes with Blueberry Compote & Mascarpone Icing Recipe

  • 1 box of Duncan Hines Golden Butter Cake Mix
  • Blueberry Compote
  • 2 cups Fresh or Frozen Blueberries
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 tbsp. Water
  • Mascarpone Icing
  • 8 oz Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 5 cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
  • 3 tbsp. Milk
