¼ tsp ground cinnamon, if desired
½ cup (120 ml) whole milk
½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
3 large egg yolks
¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
2 tbsp (15 g) cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract, vanilla bean paste, or 1 vanilla bean
1 tbsp butter, softened
