Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, spooned and leveled; 2 tsp. ground ginger; 2 tsp. ground cinnamon; 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar; 1 tsp. kosher salt; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1/2 tsp. baking powder; 1/2 tsp. ground cloves; 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg; 12 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cold, cut into cubes; 1 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed (light or dark); 1/3 cup molasses (I used Grandmas unsulphured Molasses); 1 egg + 1 egg yolk, room temperature; 2 tsp. vanilla extract; 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar; 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
