Gingerbread Snack Cake with Sourdough Discard - Amy Bakes Bread

INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup very hot water
1/3 cup blackstrap molasses (can substitute regular molasses)
2/3 cup light brown sugar (can also use dark brown)
3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil (any neutral flavored oil works)
1 egg
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 cup sourdough discard (see note)
1 cup all purpose flour
