INGREDIENTS
2 cups pecan halves
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup flour
2 cups half-and-half
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
Nonstick cooking spray
1 small wheel of brie (a little over 1 pound), still firm and not ripe, cut into quarters
Canola oil
Fruit preserves, fresh berries or figs, for garnish
Habanero Pepper Jelly (recipe follows)
Flatbreads or crackers, for serving
