Use fresh herbs in preference to the dry. And when using the dry, make sure they haven't been sitting on a shelf for months. An old herb adds about as much character to a salad as dried grass.

Ingredients

1 Clove garlic (peeled and crushed)
1/2 tsp Tarragon
1/2 tsp Marjoram
1/2 tsp Powdered mustard
1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
1/4 C Olive oil
2 Tbs Red wine vinegar

How to Make Garlic Herb Dressing

Step-by-Step

  • 1Shake all ingredients in a small jar with a tight fitting lid and let stand at room temperature at least 1 hour. Shake again and use to dress any crisp green salad.
