Gaee’s Sweet-and-Sour Meatballs

Gaee’s Sweet-and-Sour Meatballs was pinched from <a href="http://www.americanfoodroots.com/my-american-roots/meatballs-trace-path-romania-brooklyn/" target="_blank">www.americanfoodroots.com.</a>

""Gaee" may sound like the exotic Romanian word for "grandma," but it's really just Michael Harlan Turkell's word from the time when he couldn't pronounce it. Like the name, Gaee's signature sweet-and-sour meatballs have stood the test of time. This recipe comes courtesy of Turkell...."

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds ground beef (20 percent lean is recommended)
1 cup bread crumbs
2 large eggs
1 small onion, diced
