"We love fried potato cakes. I always use leftover mashed potatoes to make these little cakes. They are great as appetizers..."

INGREDIENTS
2 cups mashed potatoes
1 egg
1 small onion or several green onions (chopped)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (can use cayenne)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oil for frying
