1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Dash hot sauce (e.g., Tabasco)
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper or Creole seasoning blend
36 shucked oysters
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Creole mustard
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash hot sauce
Salt (pepper or Creole seasoning, to taste)
