INGREDIENTS

5 medium onions, sliced thin
•
1/4 cup friendly fat to cook in (butter, coconut oil, tallow, lard)
•
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
•
2 quarts beef bone broth (preferably homemade for more nourishment! See Tips section on how to make your own in a slow cooker – super simple!)

1 1/2 cups red wine (I’m not a picky on brands, but don’t cook with anything you wouldn’t drink out of a glass I also try sticking to organic to avoid the pesticides.)

Sea salt/pepper to taste
