- 1In a skillet or chafing dish cook butter, sugar and lemon juice over medium heat until bubbly. Add nectarines; cook until heated through and glazed, about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Push fruit and sauce to one side of skillet; add rum to dry spot in hot skillet and ignite if desired. Serve hot over ice cream.
