Started making this cake about 2000. This is a good one to take to a pot luck.

Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box strawberry jello, small
- 1/2 cup strawberries, smashed
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- FROSTING
- 1 small cool whip
- 1/2 cup strawberries, smashed
How To Make strawberry cake

Step 1Add all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with the whip attachment until all blended. Make sure you scrape the bottom after mixing for about a minute.

Step 2Pour into a 9" x 13" pan, that has been prepared and bake at 350 for about 40-45 minutes. Cool.

Step 3Mix cool whip and strawberries together and frost the cake with the mixture. Refrigerate until you serve it.
