sweet chili garlic sauce
Updated on Mar 28, 2016
Do you love sweet chili sauce? Try making your own instead of buying the next bottle. You probably already have all of the ingredients in your pantry. This popular sauce is used in Thai and other Asian cuisines. Sweet Chili sauce makes a terrific dipping sauce for spring rolls, egg rolls, potstickers, and the like; but is awesome with shrimp, lettuce wraps, and in stir fries too. This version is heavy on the garlic which can be reduced if preferred. Note: I completely omit the salt due to dietary needs in my household. Recipe from a Penzey's catalog.
