Ingredients
- 12 slices bread
- - butter
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 12 - eggs
- 1 1/1 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3 cups milk
- 1 pound ham, sausage or bacon
How To Make breakfast casserole

Step 1Fry and drain the meat that you want in the casserole, cut into pieces.

Step 2Cut off the crusts from the bread and butter one side of each piece, cut into 1 in square pieces (I usually stack the bread in stacks of four to cut) Place bread in a prepared 9"x 13" baking pan.

Step 3Beat eggs, add salt, mustard, milk, and grated cheese. Mix together, add meat, mix. Pour this mixture over the top of the bread pieces. Cover with plastic wrap and chill over night.

Step 4In the morning, set a pan of water on another shelf in the oven and bake the casserole at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour.
