Ingredients
- 20 oz Can pineapple chunks
- 3/4 C Maple flavored syrup
- 1/2 C Vinegar
- 24 Freezer Meatballs *
- 1 lg Red or green pepper
- 2 Tbs Cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 C Cold water
- 11 oz Can mandarin orange sections (drained)
- Chow mein noodles or hot cooked rice

Step 1Place a 1 quart strainer over a medium saucepan and drain pineapple. Set pineapple aside. To the pineapple syrup in the saucepan, add the maple flavored syrup and vinegar. Add Freezer Meatballs*, bring to boiling. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until meatballs are hot. Chop green pepper into 3/4 inch pieces. Add chopped peppers to meatball mixture. Stir together cornstarch and salt. Stir in water. Blend into mixture in saucepan. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly; cook 1 or 2 minutes longer. Add drained pineapple and mandarin orange sections; cook until heated through.Serve over chow mein noodles or hot cooked rice.*Freezer Meatballs recipe located in this program
