Cupcakes:

1 (16 ounce) package pound cake mix (One reviewer suggested White Cake Mix if you like it lighter)

1¼ cups eggnog
•
2 large eggs
•
½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
•
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
•
Icing:
•
½ cup softened butter
•
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
•
1 (16 ounce) package confectioners' sugar (I never use this much because I want to taste the cream cheese!)
•
¼ cup eggnog
•
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
•
½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
