butterfingers
This is Kenny's and Dad's favorite cookie. I received this recipe from Grandma Burgess. Bake 10-15 minutes

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, at room temperature
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
How To Make butterfingers

Step 1In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Add water, vanilla and salt, mix. Add the flour and mix. Add pecans and mix, mixture will be crumbly.

Step 2Use a cookie scoop to measure the dough then divide the scoop into half and roll into a finger shape (2 cookies from one cookie scoop) Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Step 3Put the powdered sugar in a bowl or container. While the cookies are hot, roll in the powdered sugar being careful not be break(I usually end up eating the broken ones :)) Make sure you let them cool before storing them.
