sausage and cream cheese biscuit bites

OK, not a recipe for making the biscuits but a yummy way to use the biscuit dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage (bulk-not links)
  • 8 ounces package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or any cheese you wish)
  • 2 cans (12-oz each) grands jr flaky biscuits or equalivent amount of homemade biscuit dough

How To Make sausage and cream cheese biscuit bites

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly spray mini muffin pans with cooking spray, set aside.
  • Step 2
    Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain fat.
  • Step 3
    Stir together cooked sausage, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Step 4
    Remove biscuits from cans and split each biscuit into to two. Place each biscuit round into muffin tin. Scoop sausage mixture into biscuit cups.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown.
