  • 1/2  cup honey
  • 2-3 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce 
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2-3 cloves garlic (, minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger (, or 1 Tablespoon fresh grated ginger )
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
