Easy Slow Cooker Caramel-Banana-Pecan Bread Casserole

  • Disposable slow cooker liner
  • 1-12 ounce loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes (about 9 cups)
  • 2 cups half-and-half, light cream, or whole milk
  • 3 eggs or 3/4 cup refrigerated or thawed frozen egg product
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped and toasted
