1 medium onion ((1 cup chopped))

28 oz canned whole peeled tomatoes ( with their juice)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp sugar

4 garlic cloves ((1.5 Tbsp minced))

1/4 cup parsley (finely chopped)

Parmesan grated over the top to serve
