juice of 1/2 a lemon
•
a few drops of almond extract

1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour

1/2 cup light brown sugar
•
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, (cut into chunks (1 stick or 8 tablespoons))

1 tablespoon granulated sugar
•
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
•
1 teaspoon milk or cream, (more or less for desired consistency)
