2 lbs. boneless stewing beef, cut into 1-inch chunks
1/3 cup flour
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons mild oil, such as canola
1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes (not drained)
2 cans (10.75 ounces each) condensed tomato soup (not diluted)
3 large onions, diced
3 green bell peppers, seeded and diced
1/2 of a soup can of water
1/2 teaspoon paprika (or more, to taste)
Optional, for serving: mashed potatoes or buttered noodles
Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley
