Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Lemon Sugar Topping:
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons lemon zest (from 1-2 lemons, depending on size)
For the Lemon Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (2-3 lemons, depending on size)
