INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 onion, peeled and diced
•
2 cloves garlic, minced
•
1 pound Italian sausage links, cut into chunks about 3/4" to 1" in size
•
6 cups chicken broth/stock (we use homemade)
•
1 bunch fresh kale
•
2 cans white beans (like cannellini), drained and rinsed
•
1 teaspoon salt (if using store bought broth add 1/2 teaspoon and taste test before adding more)
•
Pepper, to taste
