Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter ((softened)); 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese ((softened)); 2 tsps vanilla extract (or vanilla bean paste); 1 box chocolate cake mix ((I used Betty Crocker chocolate fudge cake mix)); 1/4 cup sugar; 1/4 cup all purpose flour; 1 3.4 oz pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix ((dry)); 1/3 cup milk; 1/4 cup water; 4 large eggs; 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips; 2 tablespoons unsalted butter; 1 tablespoon light corn syrup ((optional, but helps to add shine and to firm up the glaze)); 1/2 cup heavy cream ((sometimes called whipping cream – not whipped cream, half and half should work as well))
