1 tablespoon garam masala

1 teaspoon ground turmeric
•
1 teaspoon coriander, ground or seeds
•
1 teaspoon cumin, ground or seeds
•
1/4 teaspoon fenugreek, ground or seeds
•
1/4 to 1 teaspoon chili powder
•
Seeds from 4 cardamom pods
•
1 - 28-ounce can of crushed or diced tomatoes
•
2 tablespoons almond butter
•
2 tablespoons dairy or coconut cream
•
2-4 tablespoons brown sugar, to taste

Optional: 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
