INGREDIENTS

1 pre-made frozen crust, or use your own favorite family pie crust recipe

Filling:

5 cups diced apples (peeled)

½ c. sugar

¼ c. brown sugar

3 Tbsp. flour
•
¾ tsp. cinnamon
•
¼ tsp. nutmeg
•
(Optional: if you have a very sweet apple, add 1 Tbsp. lemon juice. Our MacIntosh apples are already a nice tart apple, so I omitted.)

¾ c. flour
•
⅓ c. softened butter (not melted)

¼ c. sugar
•
¼ c. brown sugar

½ tsp. cinnamon
