sweet potato pie smoothie
I was challenged to make a smoothie using canned yams, so I created this tasty smoothie. The yams add a wonderful texture and creaminess and the spices create the Fall flavor of just baked sweet potato pie! This smoothie is, truly, just like drinking a piece of sweet potato pie!! If you want a smoothie with fewer calories, omit the yam syrup and pear syrup and use equivalent amount of coconut milk instead.

Ingredients
- 1 - 16 ounce can candied yams, chilled, drained (syrup reserved)
- 4 - canned pear halves, chilled, drained (syrup reserved)
- 1 - 5.3 ounce container vanilla flavor greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup reserved yam syrup
- 1/4 cup reserved pear syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 - 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 - ice cubes
- - ground nutmeg (garnish)
How To Make sweet potato pie smoothie
