strawberry sunrise oatmeal smoothie
I love this smoothie! I was trying to find a way to use some of the wheat germ I purchased to make homemade granola and thought of this. It is thick and sweet with a little tang from the orange. Very refreshing and a great kick start to your morning.

How To Make strawberry sunrise oatmeal smoothie
-
Step 1Put yogurt and berries into blender and pulse to break up frozen berries. Add OJ, banana, oatmeal, wheat germ and splenda packets and pulse till desired consistency. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top and serve.
-
Step 2This will be a little thick. Serve over ice to keep cold and to thin out smoothie as it melts. If you wish to thin it out more, you can add a splash of milk or water or use fresh strawberries.
