Strawberry Sunrise Oatmeal Smoothie
3/4 cyogurt, low-fat, plain
1 mediumbanana in chunks
2 Tbspoj, freshly squeezed (about 1/2 orange)
2 Tbspwheat germ
1/4 cprepared quick oats
2packets splenda brown sugar
6ice cubes for glass (optional)
How to Make Strawberry Sunrise Oatmeal Smoothie
- Put yogurt and berries into blender and pulse to break up frozen berries. Add OJ, banana, oatmeal, wheat germ and splenda packets and pulse till desired consistency. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon on top and serve.
- This will be a little thick. Serve over ice to keep cold and to thin out smoothie as it melts. If you wish to thin it out more, you can add a splash of milk or water or use fresh strawberries.
