Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 2 Tbsp
    walnuts (or pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts, etc.)
  • 2 Tbsp
    rolled oats
  • 3/4 c
    milk or unsweetened milk substitute (coconut, rice, soy, etc.)
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    instant espresso powder
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    real maple syrup
  • 2
    dried dates, pitted and cut up into small pieces
  • 1/2 c
    crushed ice, approximately

How to Make SMmmmothie for 1

Step-by-Step

  1. Place the walnuts (or nuts of choice) and the rolled oats in a blender and PULSE until ground to a fine powder.
  2. Add all of the remaining ingredients (except for the crushed ice) and process until smooth. Now add the ice, and BLEND for 1 full minute. Note: the dates will not blend completely and you'll end up with little pieces of dates in the bottom of your glass. A sweet treat to look forward to!
